Why use Bandcamp?
I believe it is currently one of the best ways of ensuring artists get their fair share for their creations. Streaming services like iTunes and Spotify are currently paying artists absolute pittance. One song play makes an artist around 1/3 of one cent. YEP. 3 song plays and I almost make one cent. And that's before other fees are paid to upload music, plus fees taken from PayPal etc too. It is genuinely hard for artists to survive and create the music we love so much.
You can buy and stream music with the Bandcamp App just as you would use iTunes and Spotify.
It's free to download the Bandcamp app on your device. Open your App Store and search 'Bandcamp'.
Note that you will need to use your web browser on a computer to set up an account to make purchases.
The music you buy from artists will automatically add to your Bandcamp app for you to crank anywhere you go.
Better yet... once you purchase an album on Bandcamp, you can download it and is yours forever even if the artist deletes the album online.
Thank you for your support. Let's keep independent music alive.
